Case Study: Decorative and Specialty Glass Lookbook

Project Overview

Trulite partnered with Avidity Consulting to create a Decorative and Specialty Glass Lookbook that highlights the company’s extensive portfolio of patterned, etched, tinted, back-painted, spandrel, bird-friendly, digitally printed, and other specialty glazing solutions. The objective was to produce a visually rich resource that helps architects, designers, and glazing partners explore design options, performance features, and aesthetic capabilities for a wide range of applications.

The Challenge

Specialty glass categories were previously spread across multiple documents and lacked a unified narrative that communicated how these solutions support branding, privacy, safety, performance, and visual impact. Designers often struggled to understand the range of available options and how each product fit into different environments. The sales team needed a clearer, more organized way to present everything from decorative treatments to specialty performance glazing in a single, easy-to-navigate format.

Strategy and Approach

Avidity Consulting consolidated Trulite’s entire specialty glass offering into a single structured lookbook. The approach grouped products by design intent, performance attributes, and common applications. Each section was rewritten to highlight clarity, privacy levels, light transmission, safety needs, visual appeal, and compatibility with other Trulite systems. The visual layout emphasized swatches, patterns, and real-world examples while maintaining the consistent format used across the broader Trulite lookbook series.

Deliverables

  • A comprehensive Decorative and Specialty Glass Lookbook covering all product families
  • Product descriptions for patterned glass, etched glass, tinted solutions, back-painted products, spandrel glass, bird-friendly options, and digital printing
  • Use case examples for offices, hospitality, retail, healthcare, exterior facades, interior partitions, and branded environments
  • Clear explanations of privacy levels, aesthetics, safety glazing needs, and performance characteristics
  • Visual swatches and design-forward layout elements to support architectural presentations
  • A unified structure aligned with Trulite’s market-specific lookbooks

Impact and Results

The Decorative and Specialty Glass Lookbook became an essential sales and design tool for Trulite’s team. It provided a single, well-organized resource that showcased the company’s creative and technical capabilities while helping customers quickly compare finishes, patterns, and performance attributes. This clarity strengthened Trulite’s position with architects and designers seeking materials that combine aesthetics with functionality. The format also helped streamline internal communication by aligning product messaging across multiple business units.
